“This whole LP is wild and wooly stuff for sure! It’s all amped up, needles-in-red, tight and slamming, yet it feels like it’s somehow falling apart (how do you do that trick?), with gobs of ’50s rockabilly and sax-honking R&B like it oozed out a swampy bayou backroom where Screaming Jay Hawkins and The Legendary Stardust Cowboy tend bar, into Cramps-like unhinged psychobilly. (Though sometimes it’s like Nick Cave mugged Lux Interior.) Begin with 'Rock-n-Roll’ (‘is my business’—no argument there!) if you too are also a sucker for horns and a Hawkins-like mad cackle, or the “Savoy Truffle” gone Sun Ra dirty horns of ‘Son of a Gun.’” – Jack Rabid, THE BIG TAKEOVER, Issue #96, June 2025

“A genre-bending journey through rockabilly, R&B, and garage punk that is both deliberate yet unpredictable. Taking the listener through smokey bayou roadhouses to the heydays of CBGBs, Wild delivers… even blending in some surf and jazz flavors that Wild somehow makes fit effortlessly.”– METROLAND NOW, June 23, 2025, Dmitry Wild unleashes vintage Tales

“A sonic and visual storytelling... channeling Johnny Cash, Nick Cave, Jesus and Mary Chain, and Lee Hazelwood.”– POST-PUNK.COM
