"If there’s one band that has never been interested in cleaning up its act, it’s The Erotics. Led by the irrepressible Mike Trash, these long-serving purveyors of down-and-dirty rock ‘n’ roll have spent years flying the flag for the kind of music that sounds best played loud, late at night and preferably with a drink in hand... ‘Hate At First Sight’, the new original track continues their commitment to keeping rock ‘n’ roll dangerous, irreverent and gloriously rough around the edges. But there’s a particularly interesting treat on the flipside. The Erotics have also tackled ‘Party Time’, originally recorded by American deathrock outfit 45 Grave and immortalised in the cult 1985 horror-comedy classic The Return of the Living Dead. For anyone who grew up on a diet of eighties horror movies, punk rock and trashy rock ‘n’ roll, that’s a pretty irresistible combination. It’s also a rather perfect choice for The Erotics, a band whose musical world has always existed somewhere between Sunset Strip sleaze, punk-rock attitude and a midnight horror-movie marathon." – THE ROCKPIT
